Incoming mail from Sweden

TA lovely package to receive in the mail :) I had requested the heart and floral deco tape for myself and the rainbow one for a pen pal who loves color. I love it! She sent me the socks as extra. Too cute! The stamps are beautiful.

The package I am sending to her :)
Kawaii letter sets, memos/extras, sticker sack, and two packs of heart stickers she can not get there. I am hoping she will love it.

Nautical Envie/Summer Themed

I hosted this swap to celebrate summer! Decorate an envie nautical themed and insert a flat surprise.
I used: Wood Mounted Rubber Stamp, Sticker Lettering, Scrapbook Paper, Sticker Embellishments, and Washi Tape.

I forgot to take a picture of what I had inserted inside but it was a bunch of Shabby Chic items my partner enjoys! She loved it!

Outgoing Decorated Envies

Several decorated envies

- The floral rose envelope was inpired by a Secret Garden Theme
- The ghost envelope I created for someone who loves that type of stuff
- The polka dot was random and fun
- The heart envie is part of a kawaii letterset

Inside the Secret Garden inspired envie - My partners interest included Cottage Chic, Mysterious Halloween, and Sparkly Christmas so I sent her items related to her requests :) I hope to remember to take more pictures of the contents inside.

Kawaii Ziploc Baggie Theme I sent out as a swap tag

Deco Envie for a Kawaii Swap

I protect most of my paper items with a decorated file folder to prevent bending.

Outgoing - Random letters and a package :)

Christmas in July Swaps

A swap sent to someone in Russia who hosts many Christmas swaps :) I really enjoy them doing them!
I decorated the bubble envelope with wrapping paper. Inside were six gifts ranging from $1.00-3.00 USD
I will reveal the gifts after the holidays. She keeps them wrapped in her stocking until Christmas. I'm hoping I can do the same when I receive my swap :)!

Decorate an envie Christmas and insert a flat surprise. I used a lot of washi tape. I wish the picture colors came out better prior to mailing. This went to the same person in Russia.

Mini Envies

I've had so much time on my hands these past few days because of the weather. I went mini envie crazy. I typically use these for sticker flakes or mini memo's. These would work great in smash journals too.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! It's still raining here in Fort Rucker, AL. Unfortunately a rained out 4th this year :(

A mini (small) mixed media book I created for someone the other night :) I will be sending this out for a "Fruit Decorated' envelope. The womans profile stated she loved mixed media/handmade books, etc. I hope she likes it! I will post a picture of the envie once I create it.

Older Swaps & Packaging

We're supposed to head to a 4th of July Festival on post today but the chances of rain are 100 percent. The same thing happened last year too! I'm hoping a miracle happens. Anyways, I am posting some older mail and packaging on this cloudy day :)

OUTGOING - Typical mail days look like this batch. These are penpal letters and swaps :)

I love using deco tape and kawaii when decorating envelopes.

This envelope was decorate for spring :) All deco tape.

I found this beautiful envelope at Michael's. It has a french market style theme on it. This is a pen pal letter to my friend in Florida. I'm actually originally from the same area as her :)

I love this envelope however I did not create the body of this envelope as someone sent it to me. It's made out of a calendar. It's a 50/60's era vintage model of woman. I did however add the deco and labeling.

Kawaii Swapping - I protect and create these with file folders. I cut them down to the size of the swap. It's fun to decorate and sends everything safely in the mail! No bending or creasing.

Cello, Fabric, and Ribbon packaging for a kawaii swap

OUTGOING  - Bubble envies can be hard to decorate sometimes. This is older so I've got a lot better at it.

INCOMING MAIL

This beautiful package came all the way from Malaysia. She sent me some lovely things. I did not take a picture of everything inside. I believe she used scrapbook paper to wrap everything. The little green paper on top was an origami note. It was very sweet.

It's always a good day when your mailbox looks like this :)

My favorite incoming mail from Jess. She always sends me the best stuff and I do the same for her. I love this strawberry packaging. We actually both were able to score more of these online. They are hard to come by! (They come from Hong Kong)

A strawberry envelope I created out of scrapbook paper, ribbon, and of course washi tape.

My take on confetti tape. This looked extremely easy but it was a pain the bum. I will never make such a mess again :/

A cute little box I made with washi tape and ribbon.

Hopefully I can get this blog up to date. I plan on using it as current but would like to upload everything I can prior.
